Caring for Color Treated Hair

I colored my hair this week, I used Revlon colorsilk and dyed the top half of my head blonde (came out an orange brown) and dyed the back black (because my hair is off black/dark brown). I am happy with the results, not too dramatic but definitely noticeable. Now I just fear for my hair. I finally got it to start growing healthy again (see avi) and I don't want it to break off.

How do I care for color treated hair?

My current regime is wash/condition biweekly and style using Optimum Care mineral oil free oil sheen. I use little heat to curl my bangs and add body. Thats it LOL very easy going.

You'll want to up your protein and maybe try skipping the direct heat every single week on your color treated hair. Maybe try rollersetting? If not, just up your daily moisturizing and sealing. Porosity Control and Aphogee are good investments. Doth thou haveth any pics?
