Affirm Lye or No-Lye

All along I'm thinking the salon I go to uses Affirm lye but I think it's Affirm NO LYE.
I notice when she comes from the back she's mixing it in the little jar. That means it's no-lye correct??

That sounds like the no-lye......unless she's adding something else to it...like some oil, but that's highly unlikely since it would cut into their profit.

That's what I thought! It just hit me. I've going there for almost 2 yrs. and just realized it.

Affirm only makes lye relaxer and some actually come in a mix kit. I saw it on www.irbysbeautysupply.com

I thought the sensitive one was no lye. It has guanidine hydroxide.

Sensitive scalp is what my stylist uses on me, she is also mixing it up. I thought is was no lye as well.
