    Hmm...should I buy a folding bike? Or a bottle of shea-emu oil???

I've been tempted by the LHL products (not the shea-emu). Glad you like the leave-in. I have the Long Hair lovers comb and I love it! It's the best detangling comb I've ever used.

    Cool.

I actually ordered my very first bottle of Giovanni Direct Leave In yesterday.

Let us know how the LHL Luxe Leave In continue to works for your hair.

Now you know you just can't kick your holy grail to the curb like that.

I ordered the leave in treatment and received it. I used it on my transitioning hair, and I love it. It is quite thick and rich, but oh my gosh, it really softened and made my hair feel stronger. This is definitely a keeper.

Everything's so expensive, but I really do want that Shea-Emu butter.

Transitioning!! BIG CHOP from BSL to SL. Wash w/WEN, Skala, AVEDA, L'Occitane. Hot oil treatments w/coconut oil, DC once/week. Clarify once/month. JBCO for thickness. Protective styles. BKT every 3 mos. Gradually cutting relaxed ends. 100% Nappy by 40th birthday, October 2011!! Oh, and I still henna!

Has anyone tried or used the Luxe conditioner or shea-mu butter as a deep conditioner? (under the dryer with heat)

No the shea-mu butter is kind of thick. It's the same consistency as regular shea butter, but my scalp and ends loves that stuff.

I've been using on and off for about three years. I have some serious dry scalp issues and the blend of essential oils were very soothing to my scalp. My hair grows pretty fast as I have retention issues due to my scalp problems, so I didn't pay attention to the growth rate. But when I used it on my ends along with my leave in it kept my ends moisturized and soft.

Sherry- Did you use the leave in conditioner with a rollerset? Did it leave your hair feeling weighted down after drying?

I usually use a leave in conditioner to rollerset my hair but I noticed they have a new product called 'Thicken Up' that they recommend for rollersetting or a styling lotion.

Yes, I used it with a rollerset....and no, my hair did not feel weighed down... It actually felt very soft and strong... I saw the product thicken up.....the ingredients do not look moisturizing enough for me....

I am almost speechless. That is insane $400. I am not a mixologist but I know without even looking I could make that oil for less than $50, $60. The most expensive items that I can see are the emu, lavender, neroli and the saffron. And you could use a whole lot more items to stimulate the scalp besides saffron. Somebody was seriously drunk when they came up with that recipe.
Let it grow. Let it grow.
