I just lost my mother. Please pray for me.

She has been sick since I was 6 years old, but her dying was still unexpected. I'm just worried about my father, who was married to her 26 years. TIA.

I am praying for you and your family, Nakaslady. My mother died after a long illness last February. I was worried about my Dad (married for 40 years)-a year later and we still check on each other almost everyday. If you ever need to talk, PM me.

Oh my....I'm so, so sorry for the loss of your mom. You truly have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

I know what it feels like to have your mom go home...it's not easy, but rest assured you will see her again. She isn't in anymore pain nor is she suffering.

I will be praying for your dad as well....it won't be easy for him.

Death is never welcomed or expected no matter how long someone you love is sick. As such, it is ok to mourn her loss even if others think you should have expected it. No one can prepare for that moment of loss.

You father will be ok. He has you and hopefully others to keep her memory alive and to remind him of the love he had for her.

Hugs to you too! You are probably still in a state of shock so you won't "feel" it fully until days or weeks later. That is ok. Grieving is never a one day process. Losing a mother is never easy but you will be ok. Trust.
