Default Anyone shop overseas online? Looking at InStyle BRITISH edition...

I just picked up the InStyle British edition for the second time. I like their fashion SOOO much better than the regular InStyle (or maybe its just this issue) and I was just wondering, does anyone who lives in the US shop online through foreign online retailers? What places do you like?

I recently ordered a leather jacket from www.asos.com. I received it last week. This is the last time I am ordering something from overseas. The shipping was too high. It's a shame because they have a lot of cute stuff.

Really, they charged me $50 for shipping. I don't like paying that much for shipping costs.

Asos also, I shopped with them a lot when they were just getting started. I used to love the website, but it seems that the more popular they got, the more ridiculous (stingy) they got with coupon codes and promotions. I used to get stuff for 20% off, free shipping. Now, I don't know if I'll ever shop there again.

I've been trying to get into ebay buying, I usually just sell a couple things here and there. How have you been able to find good sellers, there are so many stores out there...

Oh yea for those who shop at asos.com, what is the quality of their clothes and shoes????

The only thing I ordered was a leather jacket; it is so soft. Good quality.

I've ordered from La Redoute before. I don't recall the shipping being high though.

I bought a long black halter dress last summer from Dorothy Perkins. The dress was around $27.00 US dollars and the shipping was about $14.00.

Is there a site in the US that's comparable to ASOS?

How do you use this? I went and it looks like another message board. Are you saying that we should read the messages to find ebay sellers' info?

For those mentionning ebay sellers, could you please give the names of said sellers?
