Default Any explaination? Every year, the scale

shows me at more and more weight yet I have had the same clothes since the 90's. How can I be gaining weight and wear the same clothes? And no, I don't buy big clothes, all my clothes are 'fittin'. I am so frustrated by this weight gain which seems to have no rhyme or reason and doesn't seem to show up on my outward appearance (thank goodness).

You could be very muscular which could explain why the the scale gives you a higher weight. i don't weigh myself very often. I judged weight gain and loss by my clothes.

Have you been lifting weights lately?

I am not muscular. I am curvy for my height 5'3" but I have always been curvy. To give this perspective, I bought 2 interview suits in 1990. I still wear them and they still are too big. Yet, my scale shows I have gained 15 lbs in the last 10 years.

I went to the doctor and told her I had unexplained weight gain. She basically ignored me since I still look skinny. Well, my perspective is this, if I can't figure out where the weight is coming from, eventually I'll be overweight.

No weights, every now and then I'll dance around the living room and do some ab rolls but nothing that should cause muscular weight gain. I think it must be my hips are getitng bigger. I do see an area that I don't remember being there before.

Sizes also change, manufacturers make sizes differently now than they did years ago.
