I voted new wave

I love being able to go to Target and get products like Miss Jessie's, KBB, Curls, Kinky Curly, etc.. its so much easier to get my favorite products now.

I also like to make my own hair concoctions using EVOO, coconut milk, eggs, avocado oil, etc...

I appreciate every one's answers. I thought mainstream products would be much more popular than they actually are.

For products specifically tailored for afro textured hair, it seems that the goal of the boutique manufacturers is to have their products widely available in stores to become new wave. Some of them like Shea moisture even become main stream and have features in main stream magazines and articles like Allure, or other majority (read, not-minority) publications.

Then as time goes on we'll add them to our old school list
