best curling iron for human hair braids?

hey everyone!
i am trying to try out some different styles with my braids, but wanted to know what was the best curling iron to use on braids? i find that my 14.99 Revlon curling iron isn't quite cutting it...the curl won't hold. :ohwell:

any ideas on how to make (and keep) the braids curly?

Hmm, I always had to use a super hot iron, because the heat has to get through the many strands of what is probably Asian hair (which is verrry diffcult) as well as your own hair.
I used gold irons- cheap, but they got hot; Helen of Troy, Conair (same company, as well as Jilbere), as long as they specified a high heat.
I even used the gold 'n hot wave iron. Looked sexy as hell! I still use it on my own hair. It's delicious!
