Default Product RAVE: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner

I was suffering from protein overload and had been on a tear for the past 2 weeks trying to fix it. Ulta has a sale going on right now and I bought a liter of Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner for $15. As soon as I got home, I washed my hair with my CHI Nourishi Intense, and then put the Kenra on. As soon as I put it on my hair, it's like my hair melted. I could feel my hair getting super soft like instantly. I left it on for about 5 mins then rinsed out. My hair felt soooooooo freaking soft. It didn't feel mushy soft like when I use my Hair One, but a good soft, like my hair is supposed to be. I followed up with my Roux Moisture Control and put in my leave in, Garnier Sleek and Smooth. I let it almost fully air dry then put in my Scurl and sealed with oil.

Each time I've used it, it has consistently given my hair everything it needs without adding oils or leaving it on super long. Kenra brought my hair back. Before I was a major Aussie Moist conditioner and dc fan, and Kenra is like Aussie, but on steroids. I'm frugal, okay, cheap, and I like to keep my money in my pocket. I also think I can have healthy hair and gorgeous hair without going broke. I still think I can, but I will never be without Kenra MC again. I would pay full price for this conditioner and that is not me. I will be going back to Ulta and getting some more while they are on sale. If you are relaxed or natural, try this conditioner. You will be sooooo happy!

I'm sure it has worked for a lot of people and I'm sure a lot of others would never ever find out because of the price! Had it not been for the sale, I never would've bought this!

This stuff is the truth times 1000! I basically went through my whole life with dry, brittle, broken off hair that would break if you looked at it wrong until I found Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner a few years ago. Now I am able to retain length and have the healthiest hair of my life. I typically pay full price but just got 4 liters during the Ulta sale. I have never tried the shampoo. Haven't really heard anyone rave about it. I have been using any moisturizing shampoo with it, hair one, elasta qp, etc and they are all ok but it's the Kenra that makes the difference. But I did just discover the design essentials moisture retention conditioning shampoo and loveee it ! Now that is my new shampoo staple to go along with Kenra mc.

The shampoo not so great and like elucense no slip. Mental note to pick this one up.

This is a great conditioner !! I've used it for about 6 years now. I usually always hv a bottle in my stash. It's a great moisturizing conditioner and it's cheap IMO for the size you get compared to a lot of these natural hair lines. I plan to use it this wknd as a follow up to Nexus emergence. Kenra is a fantastic follow up to Nexus Emergencee.

My hair felt like silk last night. I think I have finally found that my hair likes a bit of the higher grade brands vs all cheap bss products. I will have to buy it when it's on sale. I did pay for the little bottle yesterday bc none of the Ulta's in my area had the liter bottles. I am going to try one other Ulta since I have another coupon.

@Brittster is this product natural? I want to try it even if it isn't.

Ladies: does it have hi cones? Any natural ladies using this. Asking because I remember what worked for my relaxed hair doesn't work for my natchal hair. ;-) I am going to buy this today. If I don't like it meet me in da exchange forum.

Call Ulta before you go so you won't waste a trip. They may even hold it for you.

It's not natural but works great on natural hair. I tried "going" natural several times and it was my staple and I use it on my DDs hair who is natural.

It sounds amazing. I need a staple for my daughter's super coarse hair. We are both relaxed and her hair repels everything that my hair absorbs. Anyone knw if it will melt kinks in coarse, relaxed hair?

My hair is resistant 4c hair and relaxed. This is the best conditioner I've ever tried and I am a product junkie. I have 4 cabinets full of products I've tried over the years.

This is what kept my hair broken off for so many years. Having broken and damaged hair always led me to trying some "for damaged" or "strengthening" treatment. I was clueless. All my hair needed was a really great moisturizing conditioner and Kenra is it. I do an aphogee 2 min keratin treatment with my texlax now but that's about it as far as protein goes now a days.

Thank u!!! I am going to call Ulta on my lunch break to see if its in. What moisturizing shampoo do you use? Scurl and TCB are great for her for moisture and seal but if I can get the rest of her regimen in place it will be a great accomplishment. This is her 5th grade year and she has some damaged pieces in her hair. I would like to have it corrected this school year for middle school.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
