Default Lye Relaxers Users: How long does a tub of relaxer usually last?

I recently bought a tub of relaxer and received it today, but can't seem to find an expiration date on it. In addition, you know how most products have a little 12M or 24M or etc. mark on the back to indicate the longevity of a product? Well, the back of the tub says 2M (2 months i believe). I relax my hair every 3 months Anyone have any answers?
