    That sounds great. I'll definitely participate.

    Low carb days being anything under 20 grams per day--and we should report how many grams of carbs a day we get in. And high carb day (for those that wish to increase their carbs) can be anywhere from 50-100 grams for one day of the week.

    I'm just throwing some suggestions out there.

    Atkins worked well for me but I quickly tired of the regimen. I lost weight but missed my carbs although I am not a big carb fanatic I still missed being able to eat whatever I chose to eat-a good quick start diet is what Atkins does best. I've learned to eat less and enjoy the small amounts of whatever I want..my prescribed ADIPEX is also gimicky but it does help suppress my appetite. I am hoping my MD allows me to continue the pill for a while longer as I love bypassing the vending machine of sweeties! {I am frustrated still at my lack of exercise motivation!}

    I notice that on the days i take in more carbs, I get tired, feeling kinda sleepy and some minor bloating. On my really low carb days I feel more energetic, never tired, and experience no gas or bloating.
    I do this too HoneyComb easier for me to high carb on weekends because I'm at home!

    >For the girls that want to have a low carb week and a high carb day, watch out the carbs you are gonna eat, this last weekend i was out of GLP at home and i had to eat outside. I got hamburguers and hot dogs (i know bad at me) last week i was in 108.8 kilos, today i'm in 108.9 kilos. So, in this week, instead of loosing the 1.5 to 2 kilosb(between 2 and 4 punds) i gained 100 grams

    So REALLY, if you wanna loose weight do it in the original way. or having lean carbs, because if you do what i did, you will be recovering the weiht you lost during the week.

    You did not gain actual weight though what you gained was water weight in the form of muscle glycogen and probably a bit of bloat from all the sodium as well. If you lift weight this is beneficial because the day after a carb u you can make some serious strength and muscle gains. The water flushes out within a coule of days and the true fat loss shows up on the scale. VERY bad idea to weigh in after a carb up unless you plan to weigh in on that same day consistently.

    I agree. After a higher carb day, the scale could go up 2-3 lbs easily even though my measurements are the same. I try to weigh myself 4-5 days after a high carb day to get a truer scale reading.

    i did not weight myself after a high carb diet, i did it last saturday morning, as usual ... then i ate a hamburguer in the night, and kept the low carb the whole week, well today, 100grms more, is not that much, but i gained weight instead of loosing.

    I see. It sounds like you're one of those persons that can't bounce back from a high carb day (you're not alone). You might want to do just a "High Carb Meal". Eat low carb for all of your meals except on the day that you want more carbs. Also you might have to make sure your "High Carb meal" is done with cleaner carbs (fruits, starcy veggies, whole grains, nuts etc.) instead of junkier carbs (chips, cookies, ice cream). I'm not saying you can't ever have the junkier carbs, but you probably have to have just a one serving on your cheat day and eat healthy the rest of the day. No one wants to ever think that they can't have a junk food treat every so often.

    Everyone is different, one cheat day can undo a lot of progress for some folks and unfortunately (possibly setting you back a few weeks) you may be one of those that can only do a "cheat meal" not a whole "cheat day".
