I have realized even with the maxi skirt, one has to make sure the hem is flattering for the height of someone. For example, I like the really long almost floor skimming maxi skirts, not the one's that come up to my calf. They seem to make me look stumpy.

I like maxies both dresses and skirts with flat sandals. But I am sure there may be some who wear heeled and wedged sandals with them.

i like really long maxis that cover your feet but it's so hard to find any that fit me right. I'm 5'7 with really long legs...so they always look like high waters on me  Any tall ladies that wear maxis? Where do you get them?

I'm wearing a blue/purple tube maxi dress w/a neon lime green v lightweight sweater & Roman sandals today. Its really hot and pretty outside.
