Description: Organic Root Stimulator has blended the most strengthening agents found in nature to rush to damaged hair sites to stimulate the repair process. Carrot Oil is a vitamin-rich crème that penetrates deep into the hair shaft to impart herbal nutrients and vitamins to repair, strengthen and moisturize damaged hair. Brimming with Beta Carotene, Vitamins A, E, and Amino Acids, Carrot Oil promotes the development of new hair and skin cells.

Carrot Oil is a petroleum-free and mineral oil-free product, which leaves the hair incredibly silky and shiny from root to end. For best results use daily. Excellent for fine to medium hair textures: relaxed, pressed, curly perms and color-treated hair.

Pros: Smells great, not greasy/oily, great for split ends protection
Cons: none

I love ORS Carrot Oil!! I use it mostly for baggying my ends and taking special care of ends. It puts breakage and split ends to a screeching halt! This is great stuff. No mineral oils, no petrolatum. Its got a nice fragrance and leave the hair so moist.

Pros: Strengthens and moisturizes hair ends; no petro/mineral oil
Cons: The smell takes some getting used to

So far this is the only moisturizer I own that I know is a staple (and I own TONS). This is a lightweight strengthening and moisturizing product that protects those ends, prevents damage, and stops breakage without being heavy on my fine hair. But it does have an acquired scent to it. That may turn some ppl off.

But the benefits so outweight the smell.
Definite re-purchase.

Pros:
Cons:

This is the only moisturizer that I use for my natural hair. Pros - no mineral oil or petrolatum. Cons - can leak from jar due to separation, if not careful. I keep the big jar in a plastic bag and transfer a little bit to a squeeze applicator so that I can shake it up with ease.

Pros: Virtually eliminates shedding
Cons: Could give my hair a wet look

I destroyed my hair from coloring a few years ago and this was one of the products that saved it. It really seemed to end my shedding and breakage with in days of the first use. My only complaint is that because I have this really weird hair that likes to drink the creamy formula this product would make my hair curl up a little, so I'd have to wrap my hair immediately after putting the carrot oil on it in order to keep it straight. One perk of this was the fact that wrapping turned this product into a good setting lotion (in a way...)
