Absolutely none at all!

Simply the best protein treatment! This is all I use when my hair needs protein.
It keeps my hair is tip top condition after I use it with heat. I use once per month and it works wonders for me. I use this along with AO HSR.

I have used this conditioner for YEARS. This is great for light protein conditioning. Unlike many protein based conditioners, I never feel the need to follow with any other conditioner because it provides strength, body and fullness along with moisture. This will always be a staple product for me.

Good Protein Conditioner, leaves hair stronger but soft

This is a great protein conditioner. It's not a really heavy protein, so you can use it if you sense your hair is getting a bit too stretchy. I like that it doesn't leave your hair hard either, my hair softer but stronger when using this. I use it on natural hair, since I don't think really hard protein's necessary for my hair often. I alternate this with AO Honeysuckle Rose according to the condition of my hair, to keep my moisture/protein balance in check.

Pros:

Strengthens, Moisturizes, Detangles
|
|
Cons:

Smell can linger for days

I have purchased the product in two periods-- in 2004 and recently in 2009. It is very effective. The conditioner provides moisture and protein. The product is also natural, with no parabens. I can use the conditioner 1x-2x a week without any "protein overload." My hair feels soft and is easily detangled when I comb it in the shower.
This conditioner may not be for persons with fine hair, as it is made with a coconut fatty acid base, which can weigh the hair down. Instead, people with fine hair should apply this conditioner to hair before shampooing with a moisturizing shampoo.

I like Aubrey Organics. This is a good pre-poo conditioner if you have time to do it with heat. It is also good to seal your hair after a deep moisturizing treatment in the winter, if that makes sense. For example, I deep condition with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner, which gets right in to my fine 4A phyto-laxed hair. Then, I may use this heavier conditioner afterwards to add a bit more reinforcement to strands. I don't feel so guilty if I skip my next scheduled DC treatment.
You can find this fabulous conditioner at Trader Joes, The Vitamin Shoppe, or Whole Foods for about $8.

This is the BEST protein conditioner I've ever used! I'm very protein sensitive, so I was expecting the usual HAM that my hair turns into after using protein. I used this after clarifying and was totally shocked when the conditioner instantly softened and melted into my hair! Left it on for 10 mins while in the shower and rinsed. My hair was soooo moisturized and soft, I still can't believe it! I can't rave about this enough! If you need a great protein conditioner, get this ASAP!!!

I followed the directions on the bottle and applied to my hair dry. I then sat under my steamer, shampooed hair, and finally conditioned with AO White Camilia. My hair was soooo soft and lovely. Best product purchase that I've made in years!
