Doesn't live up to the hype

This was just OKAY. It smelled good, and it was nice and light, but it didn't do anything great for my hair. Kinda made it feel like straw

I have come to terms that this is my staple moisturizer when I don't straighten my hair. I use it while my hair is damp, seal with an oil and proceed to air dry my relaxed strains. My hair stays soft and touchable until the next wash day! When I have stretched, my new growth has a beautiful definition to its curl pattern. The smell is delicious and to me, is not overwhelming. My only gripe is that you have to find a honest vendor where it has not sat on the shelf forever. It should be a fresh egg color and most certainly NOT yellow.

Methods: Crown & Glory Technique, Patience & Prayer Staples: oils, everything Profectiv, Porosity Control, Surge (yes, I have 3 bottles left) & MN Inspirations: macherieamour (first hair crush), Queen T (chk avatar!), samanthajones67 (braid knowledge), E_Williams20 (her lazy growth technique )

Non-greasy, great scent, nice consistency

Cons:

doesn't spread well
|
|
It smooths the new growth around my hairline quite well. I use it daily to protect my ends and edges. It doesn't spread well enough to use it on my length (too thick for that). A little goes a long way but I wish I could find it in a bigger size. I go through 1 tub a month. Doesn't leave my hair stiff or sticky.

Keeping it simple in 2012. Viviscal, Ovation, DCing, oils.

Cons:

Not moisturizing enough
|
|
Not nearly moisturizing enough. It made my hair soft, but after a few hours, my hair was really dry. This would be good to seal with after using a better moisturizer

This product did nothing for my hair. The smell is terrific and the ingredients seemed very good but it just sat on my hair. I couldn't even use it as a skin moisturizer.

Smells good, good for slicking back your hair for buns, ponytails. Makes using mango butter much easier since the pure form is hard. Didn't like the build up, or that it was almost like a greasy gel on my hair, had to clarify with ACV & water to get it all out.
