oh yeah i love her. and she's actually a NICE person!! a lot of folks were b*tchy towards her so she doesnt do updates as much anymore.

i cant stand folks!!!! it's a gotdamn shame when you need to put this on your channel

Her hair is beautiful and it so sad that hateful people would make it hard for her; her features are really sharp but some women, like she said, are built like that. I love her hair and will continue to watch her now that I've found her. empressri I know you can relate to her being harrassed on youtube, I remember you saying that you have had problems in the past and it's just sad that you have to go through that, since most of us watch these types of videos for inspiration and tips.
 
Her hair is awesome and so is her look. It is sad that we as women of color can't appreciate diversity. I wish she would post more often
 
Loved the beehive bun tutorial! The hair porn video left me a little confused. It's like she's saying "look, love my hair!" It's really pretty, but I perceived it to be kind of...showing off? I guess her style is not for me.

Still, that doesn't warrant mean comments about her. If someone doesn't like her, don't watch her, simple.

I think that's exactly what she's doing. But if I had her hair I'd show it off too! Plus I think she is also doing it to inspire other women who once thought long thick GORGEOUS hair was out of their reach.

I got that too. I felt guilty watching her video almost like I was watching vainity in its purist form:lol:. But she looks great, healthy and beautiful:yep:. No human being should harass someone else no matter what a person looks like.

ITA. Leobody was my inspiration for transitioning and growing my hair to long lengths.

Vanity is the only reason any of us want long hair. There is no other reason to have long hair. Even if it's a religious requirement, it's still because "a woman's hair is her glory". I wish more of us would become "show-offs", then maybe we could put an end to the myth that Black women are doomed to be bald-headed unless we purchase our hair from Asians.

Jealousy causes women to really act messy.
 
Of course she was showing off - look at that gorgeous hair! I don't see what is wrong with showing it off on her YouTube channel which is mainly about hair. It's not like she was walking down the street with a boombox playing that music in broad daylight whipping her hair all over the place. Folks on YT are "nosy" as heck anyway, if she didn't have her comments and messages disabled I would say that someone probably requested she do that video.

yup her first hair ''porn'' vid was for her husband someone saw it on his you tube page and asked her about it

longhairdontcare has done the same kinda vid but i didnt see the disgusting comments for her like they did leobody:nono:

I love Leobody, and it's a crying shame people are so ruthless and mean about their comments, seriously what part of her seems manly? If you don't like her don't watch/chime in on the videos..simple.

At any rate, I loved her videos including her "hair porn" video, and I don't believe she was trying to show off.. A lot of the subbies wanted to see one, and besides when she made that video..everybody and their mother with long hair also were making hair porn videos,..so I am guessing they are all showing off rubbing it in our faces? Hair porn videos are intended to highlight the beauty of the hair, show you, hey you can get this too...just my two cents.

Please, these little so and sos think I still don't know that they're being slick but at the end of the day, you can love me or hate me, either way you're STILL thinking about me! lol

Folks that go out of their way to be nasty to others really have issues of their own and can't handle it so they need to lash out at others. They never put their own picture up but wanna be an e-thug. I mean it's sooo comical!!:lachen:

but leobody...ive corresponded with her a bit, she is very nice and humble. and she's like this real life gorgeous black barbie and i mean that in every good sense.

such a damn shame the nice ones are disappearing just cause folks are deciding to get all one flew over the cuckoo's nest and girl interrupted on everyone.
