What can I use to make my pores smaller?
Sometimes my pores get really really big. I dont have bad acne, I do get black heads though. But sometimes those pores turn into really big,and painful bumps. What can I do to make them smaller?
I wash my face twice a day with a cleanser
I use avon invigorating scrub every2-3 days
I use a Active charcoal mask every monday
I use 10 minute mask to quench skin's thirst when every my skin feels really dry.
And I moisturize my skin twice a day with Extra-rich moisture cream

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
You can't change the size of your pores. You can use products that make them appear smaller. A lot of mattifying products do this. Think of something like Clinique's T-zone Pore Minimizer (okay that might not be the exact name).
Side note: Maybe your moisturizer is too heavy for you? Unless your face is really dry that is. It could be clogging your pores.

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
You cannot make pores change in size but the cleaner they are the smaller they appear. I have been using Paula's Choice 2% SA Liquid with really great success. I use it like a toner after I wash my face.
Check her out it was totally worth it for my skin

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
I have been using L'oreal's Pore Minimizing Cleanser, it has been keeping my skin clear and smooth....my pores do appear smaller at times so it's been good for me
Has similar ingredients to the above product as well.... salicylic acid

Learned this here on LHCF: add a 1/4 of a drop of honey to your moisturizer

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
I have pretty large pores in my cheek area... I've heard that when you rinse your face you should do it with cool/cold water instead of warm water so that the poress will be tighter or shrink a little...
I've been doing it for a little while now..I'm not sure if it's making much of a difference though.
I've been eyeing a pore minimizer from the face shop product line:
http://www.walgreens.com/store/produ...id=prod4103073
Not sure how well it works..but i've tried some of their masks and they usually make my skin look and feel pretty good...

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
Wash face with warm water. Do your final rinse with cold water. I think cold water closes the pores, thereby making them appear smaller.

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask closed big pores on my cheeks/face that I had been struggling with for years. It is the ish.

Re: What can I use to make my pores smaller?
I use Neutragena's Pore Refining set, ie, cleanser, toner and face cream with SPF 15 in it. It works after about 2 months of continuous usage but I find that you have to keep using it. I don't mind that because I found something with SPF that agrees with my skin and the price is reasonable.
