Long Testimony: Hydrogen Peroxide 3% for Bacterial Vaginosis Works

I know this is personal, but I just wanted to share this with any ladies that may be going through what I am going through, or may not. I have been suffering with recurring Bacterial Vaginois for quite some time now and it annoys the hell out of me. I am very self conscious about the way I smell down there and BV is no joke, because point blank, THE DISCHARGE STINKS BADLY. I become obsessive and I dont want any sex if I dont smell like my normal self (odorless). Taking that expensive METRO gel and those nasty pills were not cutting it for me. I was constantly at the doctor with the same problem. It would go away for awhile, and then come right on back. So I did a search on Earthclinic.com for cures. ACIDOPHILIUS, ACV, PEROXIDE and FOLIC ACID came up. Yogurt was on the list too. I cant lie, and the methods seemed a little too much for me (yes I do get impatient) and I was broke at the time. So I saw Hydrogen Peroxide by itself and the testimonies and decided to give it a try.



Here is what I did, I bought a douche and a bottle of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 3% I got mine for 50 cents at the dollar store. I went home poured out the contents in the douche bottle, rinsed it out, and filled it with half peroxide and half water. I then shook it up and, proceeded to douche. I held it in for two minutes cuz I couldnt hold it in any longer, and I then pushed it out. It came out foamy of course. Ok, done. I didnt notice anything because BV can be tricky like that sometimes so I had no odor for the rest of the day. Later on i got my period.... Im thinking CRAP now I wont notice a THING. After my period was done, I can say that I had absolutley NO ODOR!!! BV doesnt go away after a period, (well at least I know that mine doesn't) and have been dealing with this for a long time and after a period the odor is always STILL there. I am now 2 weeks post period (LOL) and I have no odor, or wierd discharge. This is a first. I have not continued douching (because i think you need to do it at least 4 times) until today. I just used it again just to be safe because I remember when I would take my medication my doctor would tell me, "Just because the odor is no longer there, doesnt mean the bacteria is completly gone so take your medication until it is finished or else it will come back." So maybe this applies in this situation im guessing. But one thing I do know is that this stuff saves money, and it is cheap, and it is a product that is more natural than that metro gel stuff. Whats in that stuff anyway? Besides it would end up coming back anyway after awhile.

Now I dont know how this stuff does in the long term, so I will post updates on that in the future if my BV comes back or not. Short term wise, (for now) this stuff is excellent. If this is a longterm cure as well I will be the happiest woman on earth.

I have had a yeast infection or BV for 4 days and thinking yeast first, I treated it with Monostat 1. It did not work, on the 4th day I was more miserable than I was on day one. I do not know how ladies put up with such a nasty condition for so long. Anyway, I dislike going to the doctors very much. I found this site and read your antidotes, then I found a medical site that backed the information about using a certain kind (that most people do not have) of H202 internally. I only have the 3% at home and that is what I used. The medical site does not recommend it for internal use. I do not own a baster or anything else like that. I used a tampon which I tried to soak with a solution of 50% bottled water and 50% H202, but I found it expanded too much in the applicator. In my frustration, I removed the tampon from the applicator and drenched it with straight H202 and used my fingers to push it up into my vaginal cavity. It was messy and a lot of liquid just came dripping back out. I also took paper towels and soaked them in staight H202 and methodically cleaned the entire external area from inside thigh to inside thigh and from start of pubic hair well past the anal opening. I let myself air dry then put on clean cotten underwear with a pad, and went to make a phone call, I talked for 67 minutes. During that time expanse there was a bit of a warm sensation that I felt and a bit of pain (like a cramping pain). After my call was over, I pulled the tampon out, then I literally dumped some more H202 over the entire external area and left myself air dry again. I woke this morning and have checked 3 times so far. No external cheesy stuff, no internal excessive white stuff, no musky smell, and I am pink again. I am going to the store to get some folic acid today also, but I did want to let you know of my success. P.S. I already eat Breyers probiotic yogurt daily regardless of state of health."

I was seeing her so often that she would just write me a prescribtion without even an examination. I looked up the bv cure and I read all of the cures. I went out and bought some acidophilus and some folic acid. After a day or two of no results, I tried the half and half of peroxide and water for about 4days but after the second day no smell or discharge.Amazing!!!! I keep checking myself to make sure it's not temporary and not one trace of it. I will continue to take the acidophilus and folic acid but the peroxide and water as a douche was the winner for me. After you put the peroxide mix inside, you said you held it in for 2 minutes and then pushed it out. To hold it in, do you do something like kegal tightening? Like you're holding in pee? I've never douched before, so I don't know how to do it.

Do you think this would be okay for someone who's preggo?

Very interesting information, thanks for sharing this. You can't beat 50 cents for a treatment that works faster and better than the prescriptions doctors write out, and is healthier too.

Hydrogen peroxide has so many valuable uses for people.

Must be an American thing, particularly a southern american thing! Peroxide is used for allllll sorts of thiings. Freshen breath, whitens teeth, disinfects cuts, lightens hair

That is good information.

Something for you to consider:

1. The more probiotics I ingest the healthier I am down there...

2. If you are having sex with SO and you have the BV, then clear up the BV with antibiotics, then have sex with SO again, you can give it back to yourself. I swear men carry and spread everything..

3. Again concerning men. Several girlfriends told me that they get BV nearly faithfully when she and DH have unprotected sex (with...emissions) around the time of her period. They theorize the man juice plus the uterine material sometimes don't agree. I see you are getting it right before your period so I thought I'd mention it.

Girl, I never even had bv till I got pregnant. I swear, every time I get knocked up, I get some kind of new ailment I'm hoping this crap goes away after I have this little monster, cause I can't keep having my stuff smelling like refried beans and corn chips

Thanks for the info. I love HP and use it for a lot of things. Esp ear infections. I seems to get those pretty often from wetting my hair and sinus problems but this helps with that.

It makes sense that it would work for BV.

Is that the same as a yeast infection?

No.

That's why it's always best to go to the doctors, if not to get a prescription but just to make sure you know what it is.

Thanks for looking out, lol. I use it often to wipe down the kitchen counters and gargle with it. Now I know something else it can help with!
