Default New Soap Line Offerings: Wanna Be In on the Choices?

Ananda! is bliss and joy. Ananda! is also in the process of selecting product for its debut! It occurred to me that it might be fun to bring my hair sistahs in on the choosing. Wanna offer your .02? Should be fun choosing.

I am thinking we should stick with 6 items changing up every six months. That would then be a Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter line (we're small, home-based and want to be most excellent at what we do vs. being a "Jack Of All Trades and a Master of None". So, we are now selecting for the Spring/Summer line-up. It will be difficult to limit the debut line to six fragrances, but I think it best. Now remember polls are limited to 10 choices .

I'll put the fragrance choices in a poll. These are what I am thinking of for the debut product offerings:
  1. Unscented vegan bar soap
  2. Liquid Soap
  3. Body Polish (emulsified sugar scrub)
  4. Goat Milk Tallow Bar Soap
  5. Goat Milk Lotion

Hello, no they will not. I want to shoot for "mostly" natural. I say that because fragance oils are not natural. There are many scents that just do not come in "nature" and I would hate to exclude them in the name of "all natural". Plus, I am constantly in read/learn mode. I don't want to advertise "All natural" until I know FOR sure it is accurate.

Thanks for asking.

You have a good range with the choices listed in your poll. Of course someone will always end up asking your for something you don't carry. Nature of the beast.

You know you are right!!! I am holding on to my last bar of black vet. cafe now!!

Lovin... I am one of those people who love picking out of what is already available. But if I am given to many options (over 100) to choose from, I feel like I am searching for a needle in a haystack and it gets frustrating. So I think you limiting your selection is a good idea.

An Ex....and Candle company that I love have over 500 scents, after sniffing about 20 I cant tell one from the other and I feel like I might not ever find what I really really desire in all those scents.

If any of that made sense.

Question Re: New Soap Line Offerings: Wanna Be In on the Choices?

Hi T,

Tell me about this Black Vet Cafe, please. Sounds intriguing. Being the fragance ho that I am it is way difficult to limit choices. Thank goodness the pocketbook will keep us in check! But, tell me 'bout it. Maybe I can get a sample, soap it/lotion it and I looove, love naming the products. It can be called something like, ummm, "Tee Tantalicious!"
