Glycolic acid face washes
Anyone use a glycolic acid face wash?
I've been thinking of adding one to my skin care routine. I don't have issues with acne, but I do have oily skin. IF I do get a pimple I will always scar, regardless of whether I mess it it or not. I also have a couple of fine lines on the forehead (I've had them since I was a teenager from frowning so much! LOL).
So, in summary, I have oily, yet pretty clear skin overall, with an occasional fine line or hyperpigmentation mark.
If you use these washes what brands have you used and what have been your experiences. There are tons to choose from on skinbeautymall.com.
Thanks.

A yummy deep body cleanser that exfoliates dull skin cells while maintaining the natural moisture balance of your skin. (I use this!)
4% Glycolic, 4% Lactic acid.

Re: Glycolic acid face washes
I used to use a glycolic acid cleanser on my face but found it a bit too much daily. I do have a 10% glycolic lotion that I like much better and it can be applied 2x/day.

Clean & Clear's "Steam" In shower facial also has glycolic acid, but it's been discontinued. Travesty

I like Aqua Glycolic. You might find it at some smaller pharmacies. If not, a regular pharmacy can order it for you (it's not a script).
Right now I'm using Anthony Logistics for Men glycolic cleanser.
There is one d/s brand ppl on here use to rave about: Alpha Hydrox maybe?

Apparently the Clean & Clear Steam In shower facial is discontinued via their Soft Line, but is "reincarnated" under clearn & clear's already existing "Morning Burst line.
I saw C&C Morning Burst "In Shower Facial" in Target today. Exact same directions, and I'm pretty sure the ingredients are exactly the same, but I'll check later to be sure.
I'm excited! I really love this product.

Re: Glycolic acid face washes
I am currently using the aqua glycolic set. The face wash, face toner, and face cream. I really like it. My dermatolgist told me about it. The first time that I purchased it was at a Walgreens. It cost me $30 for one item, but if you go to the company's website, Merz-Direct.com, You can buy individual products for $10-15 plus shipping and handling. I too have oily skin, but I use salicylic acid pads throughout the day to make sure the oil doesn't clog my pores. It is a good regimen thus far.

Re: Glycolic acid face washes
I found GA cleansers dried my skin too much. A couple of years ago I found mario badescu AHA oil free moisturizer - still using it every day and extremely happy w/ the results.
