Has anyone got there stomach all the way down after losing wieght or child birth. I see on TV that most women just go get a tummy tuck, but can a person get that flat tummy look after having a child. I know when I lose wieght most of my belly fat comes off but its just the very bottom of the stomach that is a little stuborn. Its kinda like a little love handle . I hope yall know that area that I am tring to discribe.
Anyway , has anyone lost it all without a tummy tuck or lippo?

Reverse crunches *might* work. They help flatten the lower part of the abdomen. It does take a while to see any real results though.

If not though, a tummy tuck is your best bet. My 4'10", 95 pound friend eventually had to get one after her fourth child. Her body completely bounced back after each pregnancy, but with that last one that little bit of stubborn flab just would not go away. So she had a mini tummy tuck and her tummy is back to normal.

I think a tummy tuck would be my last resort. I am 28 thing to get back it to my 16 year old size and shape. I dont want to get fustrated with that one spot.

Have you tried side crunches? I don't have much advice outside of stomach execises. I have two grown children and I just got my lil flab 21 after the fact. :perplexed

I can definitely understand your pain. I envy women whose stomach's go back to pre-baby. After I'm completely and finally sure I'm done with children I plan on just having a nice tummy tuck. Hopefully I won't have to so I'm working on it but I would also suggest those lower ab crunches. Get the Firms "Jiggle Free Ab's" they will definitely give u a workout.

I don't know about post-baby but abs series like power 90 has will bust any flab. I know people who have pouches and haven't had kids yet so kids not kids a pouch is a a pouch. Maybe you should cut down on any starches, sugar, flour based foods and up your protein, vegetable, fruit intake, anything brown-not bleached is good but still keep the portions small, more water also. Reverse crunches work, Winsor Pilates abs works too. hth

I had this problem after my first child. I was told it was due to lost elasticity in my skin. So my skin wasn't as tight at it was before the baby. I don't really know what you can do to increase skins elasticity, but maybe that will give you some where to start your search.

Try more vitamins a, d and e. I don't know whether topical or injested forms work best, but i plan on trying this after my new baby gets here in Oct.

Lucia what is the power 90 series?
It's a series of 2 DVd's and a suggested eating plan( you can even eat at fast food places) to get you in shape in 90 days, and they aint never lied on that infomercial, it's a 1 beginner-int 2nd Dvd int-adv. you train cardio 1 day then sculpting w/ free weights and squats push ups the next, I saw the testimonies and used this to get to my ideal weight I lost 10 lbs and streamlined but you must be consistent and dedicated. Now I can do 30 mins of running before those workouts. I'm transitioning to the athlete level P90X that's a butt kicker for sure. HTH
