Loss of pigment caused by steriod cream?

Has anyone ever experienced this, how long did it take for your skin to return to normal? What products or procedures did you use?

Yes I have experienced this before what you need to do is stop whatever it is you are using I had some patchy lightening just recently and what I started using was Clear Essence Acne Control Wash. I didn't even realize that it would have the effect that it did but it started evening out the light patchiness right away I understand what your going through...feel free to pm if you want...by the way what kind of steroid cream were you using I was using Visable Differenc.

Hypopigmentation is a side effect of steroid creams. I'm not sure, but I think it should resolve after you stop using. How long it takes to return back to normal i'm not sure.

Thanks, both Modrosone and Dakokort, its only recently that the derm told me that it was due to these creams...
