Anyone with eye problems in the house? When did you realize your eyesight was going downhill? Where you ashamed to tell anyone at first?
I just got the guts to tell anyone. My head and eyes have been bothering me for a minute.
Sunday I realized my eyesight is getting really bad. When I drive at night the vehicle headlights are blurry. I am not able to make out features in pictures now!
I have a locket my daughter bought me years ago. I cannot see her features in the pics. I can only see her teeth and the pics are blurry. I remember vividly I choose these pics because they were really clear.
I have two vision plans through my employer so I am calling them both this morning for an emergency appointment.

Yeah, I would make an appointment with a doctor ASAP! Especially if you have just now noticed a drastic change in your eyesight.
Hope everything goes okay! :)

I agree. I know the feeling, but I've needed vision correction since the 5th grade. If this is coming on suddenly, you definitely want to have it checked out. It may just simply be normal weakening in vision, but you don't know until you get checked out. If it's nothing more than you now needing glasses, you definitely want to take care of that because the strain you put on your eyes without corrected vision will allow it to worsen and can cause headaches/migraines.
Also check to see if you are deficient in Vit a.

If you're open to natural remedies as well - you should start drinking at least one glass of carrot juice everyday. And if you're into herbal remedies - then try some Eyebright herbal extract drops in your tea.
I used to have difficulty with night vision and was eventually prescribed glasses that I wore while driving at night. But God is good; when I decided to get healthy once and for all several years ago, a side effect was the strengthening of my eyes / vision.
Now my eyes are stronger & better than ever.
The important thing to remember is that no matter what symptom we may have in our bodies, it is typically the result of stress and / or a vitamin or mineral deficiency and by supplying the body what it needs it then has the tools to repair the body optimally.

Angel, yes go and see your doctor right away. Also this is nothing for you to be ashamed of nor to panic about. The headaches are a possible symptom of a little eye stigma; also from being concerned about the 'unknown'. Sometimes I wear 'reading' glasses. Especially when I can't believe what I may have read on the OT forum...
Hey, you're needed here to 'read' my posts and to guide me in what and how I say whatever it is I say. (Did you get that? Did I make any sense with that?).
I'm praying for you. There's nothing to fear, dearest one; nothing for you to fear. God is already there at the doctor's office and He's with you right now.
Loving hugs...

You will still be beautiful. Also men LOVE women who wear glasses. They like to take them off.... So get ready to be chased down by a lot of handsome and rich men. I see several coming your way...and to stay. ;)
I Love You, sweet one. And yes, you are in my prayers. Please be at peace.
Also do some research on Alph Liporic Acid (ALA)

There is another herbal remedy. I think it's bilberry extract. It's use for people whose nearsighted. I heard a lot of good things about this herb. I wonder does anyone know anything about a herb called eyewash where it washes all the impurities and toxins from your eyes to improve your sight. There was this place that sold it but they moved away.

Girl please, with all these fashionable frames out these days?!?! You can find some HOT frames! The designers have some really nice ones, and with insurance, a pair of glasses are affordable. PLUS you can always opt for contacts ;)
I can't wait for my appointment next month to go new glasses shopping. My Gucci frames have served it's time ;)

I had my eye exam. I did ok til the last three or four lines. Talking about a blur. :( I cannot read small print and pics anymore it hurts. I don't need bifocals. I need invisaline glasses for driving at night, tv, blurred vision, distance and reading small print. Well damn I'm ole fo real now! Chile she said the pain in the middle of my eyes and nose area is from straining my eyes trying to focus.
The Doc was very professional and nice. She is young, beautiful and natural. I referred her to LHCF for hair knowledge. She had nice hair even in her bun. I told her she could see hair albums so she can find a hair twin and try different stuff. She transitioned to natural from relaxer.
Oh So1913 I had no copayment. I get free glasses worth up to 155.00 or credit of 155.00 towards glasses every twelve months. Coolbeans! I got some by Thalia rimless and Ecko black frame.
