I only recently started purchasing Avon products b/c the mother of a coworker sells them. The only time she will give me a catalog is when i buy something and it is in the bag with my order. Aren't they supposed to/shouldn't they give you a catalog whenever a new one comes out? Maybe this is how they do it, but when i would purchase Mary Kay, i'd always get the latest catalog from my rep plus maybe a brochure or something with any purchases. I just find it unusual that I have to ask for a new catalog, especially since i have purchased a lot from them, or is this just how Avon reps do it?

No I was a rep for 2 years and I gave out new catalogs every campaign. Regardless of whether someone made a purchase or not. She needs to step up her game. But you know what it is? Those catalogs cost I think $7-9 for just 10 and then the more you want the higher the cost. Some reps look at the cost that they pay for the catalogs and don't order enough to hand out to their perspective clients.

ETA: now that I don't sell - I just go on Avon.com and sometimes they have free shipping.

I'm not going to be ordering much anymore then b/c if she has to be that cheap then i guess i'm not her 7th-9th favorite customer :perplexed

I love Avon. I need to stop myself from ordering stuff so much. I hate the fact everytime I buy lipstick or lipgloss it doesn't look right on me.

They have some very moisturizing lipsticks, I like Cherry Jubilee - it looks good on all skin tones IMO.

Wow- that's a lot of catalogs. I had no idea. (The MK catalogs come out quarterly so I figured Avon would do something similar.)
I don't think I've seen an Avon catalog since I was a little girl. I remember they used to have these creme perfumes that mom wore. I'll have to go to the website and see what they have now.

Chile me too. I have to tell the lady at work not to leave a book so I don't buy all that stuff. I love the lil kids stuff too. I just got back to work and ordered at least 40$ worth of stuff. :(
