I came across this 3 nights ago and have been using this method.

Don't know if this has been posted already, but I thought I would share. I have acne prone skin and have spent thousands of dollars trying to control it. This is my 3rd day using this method and it is working so far.

there is something about this in the beauty forum - worked for some, but not other. But I guess that is to be expected :)
Glad it's working for you :)

Girl, I had JUST finished coming from that site when i came here. I am planning on buying his BP gel b/c in my opinion it's cheap and it makes sense... Too strong of a BP gel is probably worse for your skin than regular strength.

10% BP cream has cleared me up after about two years of skin turmoil. I don't follow the rest of his regime, I use noxema to cleanse and I'm stll trying to find the *perfect* moisturizer, but I was a member of that forum for quite some time and it really works for some.

I do a modifyed version of this. The combination of 2% Salicylic Acid and the BP have done wonders. I put the SA all over, then I use the 2.5% BP on my extra oily areas and now I rarely break-out. If I have 'period pimples' I use 10% BP on them. 2% Salicylic Acid is the truth though, cuz BP alone does NOTHING for me!

Where do you get your 2% Salicylic Acid? What brand/company? Cost? Thanks!

Woo, sorry ya'll, I haven't been in here in a few days. I was using Neutrogena Overnight Pore Clarifyer(sp?) but they discontinued it, so I got some Stridex Day & Night treatment(2.99) from Big Lots. It has 2% Salicylic Acid and 2.5% BP in the same bottle, but they each have there own little pump, so you can use them together or seperately. I also use Clearasil Overnight Acne Defense Gel(2.99) and Acne Fighting Moisturizer(1.99). They both have 2% SA. I got all of these from Big Lots. If you have a BL in your area check it out, just make sure you check the expiration dates on the products.
It seems as if EVERYTIME a product works well for me it gets discontinued, so whenever I find produtcs I like I stock up, at least 6 months worth. Unfortunatly my local Big Lots closed, so now I have to go 25 miles to the nearest one. HTH
