I still use jeans in the heat.. weird, I know.
Some nice vests/strap tops/ whatever u guys call em.
Dry fit material is great for the heat.

How long are u going to be here?
Are u here to party, shop, work.. or all of the aforementioned?

Being someone who use to spend equal time in NYC and in LA I say you should be packing the same stuff u would wear at home cuz its HOT here. It's 90-98 in the city this week and should be prolly 80-90 next week. Light shirts, capris or light jeans, skirts, tank tops...things that you can stay cool in. And don't forget your shades.

I was wondering as far as what the weather is usually like. Some folks have said it's REALLY HOT all day while others have told me its cool most nights. Coming from MS, I just cant imagine it bein "that" hot! I wear jeans year round here. But, this is coming from folks that have been there only once!

Hey y'all! I'm originally from Alabama (like y'all didn't know that :D) but I now live in NYC... Gotta tell ya... It's been over 100 degrees for the past two days... Whatever you're wearing in Mis-sip, bring it wit cha! If you're worried 'bout "fashion"... NYC is the most liberal place in the nation, I b'leive, regarding fashion.

No I am more concerned about dressing appropriate for heat.......I am in the south now and it is hot as h*ll but I do not have to walk everywhere, I know I will be doing alot of walking there.

Just leisure travel.
