I was thinking...
Some people say it is better to drink Ice cold water because it revs up your metabolism.
Others say drinking room temperature water is best because it is more easily digested?
Is bottled water different or better than distilled?
Is plain old tap water okay?
Any thoughts or answers are welcome....

I'm a room temp kinda gal. I have sensitive teeth so, ice cold bothers me. I drink filtered tap here at work all day and Poland Springs or Deer Park at home. My BF freaks if he sees me drinking "city water" from the tap at home and since he buys it, I drink it. Only time I am wierd about my water is 2 weeks out from a show when I have to watch everything, then I only drink the bottled.
Distilled is water that has been steamed and then they collect the condensation and bottle that. There are no minerals or anyhing left in it.

I'm a room temp gal too! I have sensitive teeth and I can't take ICE COLD water!!!
I drink bottled water all day long while at work. I have BRITA pitcher in my fridge.
I keep bottled water in the house too!
I prefer Volvic, Aquafina, Deer Park, Poland Spring, or Vittel bottled waters.
*My favorite is Glaceau Vitamin Water (Power-C)*
Tebby1017,
*I also heard that room temp water is easily digested.*
I believe this is true!
The BRITA Pitcher works just fine to me! I change the filters and call it a day. The taste and odor of tap water does improve once you filter it with the BRITA! It's also convenient. If you don't want to spend alot of $$$ unnecessarily on bottled water, you should go with the BRITA FILTER SYSTEM (sink installation) or go with the BRITA pitcher!

I didn't know that about the distilled water...my mother drinks it because she was told that people with thyroid problems should drink that...go figure...

Ice cold water will never pass my lips! I prefer water just a tinge above room temp. I take it cold out of the fridge from my brita then let it sit for about 20 minutes before I even touch it so I have to drink it from water bottles.

Amberskye, my husband bought me a Brita pitcher and I love it! However before that, I was a tap water girl, drinking it nice and cold!!! I still do whenever I go visit my folks in Pittsburgh.
Also, One has to watch with bottled water as some do not contain essential minerals which are necessary for for bodies. So be sure to check the bottle!
Incidentally, in europe, many people especially the Germans drink carbonated water (seltzer). Tap water is frowned upon and mineral water is hard to get at a restaurant. I can drink carbonated water on a hot day with lemon, it's delicious, but after a work out??? Not unless there wasn't a choice. I'm still getting used to drinking it.

I like my water warm but slightly chilled due to my sensitive teeth. I drink Brita from a pitcher at home and walk with my portable Brita bottle all the time.

Tebby1017,
The portable Brita is a regular water bottle, but it has a filtration system under the cap. I have one. It was included in the box when I purchased my Brita as a FREE gift.
Click on this link~ BRITA (http://www.brita.com/224i.html)
You will see different locations where Brita Systems can be purhased!
