I love those cute, super-long chains that Beyonce wears:

but it is hard to find chains like that in the stores, at least for me it seems. On the rare occasion when I did find one they seemed to be priced too high--like $60 or so  . Well today I bought two cute chains from Walmart and the idea came to me. Since they have that lobster clasp to secure them, just secure the clasp of one to the hole in the other and voila--an ultra-long chain. I paid $7.93 each for them. So if you find a chain that you like that has a clasp, just purchase two and hook them together. If the chain doesn't have a clasp then you'll need needle nose pliers to open them and connect them together.

Go to stores like Express and the Limited. They have some very nice ones for good prices. Major stores have them too, but they are more expensive.

Great ideas, ladies. The only problem I have w/Limited is they can be overpriced IMO. Last month I bought a chain and then returned it after paying $36. And still i realy havent seen any quite as long as the ones Beyonce wears. Not that I necessarily want to wear them that long but I do like to loop them around.

Go to the cheap accessory stores like Claires. You can find a large variety of long necklaces for less than $10

I seem to always find them at my local BSS's ranging from $1-$4.

I loooked at Claire's a few weeks ago but most of the stuff looked too cheap. The idea was just kind of for if you have a chain that you think is cute but you wish were longer. I find that the longer the chains in those stores, the quality begins to diminish, but even still not many of them are as long as I would sometimes like. But I still appreciate all the additional ideas. Sometimes a diamond can be found in the rough of some of those stores.

JC Penny's! I had not been to a Penny's in YEARS, and saw one at a mall I had never gone to. I'm glad I went there cause I stocked up on "baubles" (as I like to call them. :p They are quality pieces but not super expensive.
