It's cute but lower the belt wo you waistline instead of below your breasts. And wear some nice strappy shoes with the dress. If you have a gold, copper belt, it would look even better.

I don't know. I like it just the way it is on her. I could not pull that off, but it looks great her, shoes and all. It's original.

I was trying to see if I could re-birth this two year old dress with a $2 belt that i've only worn once, i,e no new purchases.
To me it's more of qiuet dinner and a movie outfit rather than a night on the town outfit, iono I'll probably never wear it.

Oh wow..don't do that on my account, I was only being honest but that's because I was visioning how I would wear the dress. I thought the dress was cute. I won't say nothing else.

Ss,

I think it's good that DODiva expressed her opinion about changing it up if she had to wear it. If I saw myself in it, I would change it up too.

Just do your thing mommi b/c some people will like it, some people will hate and the rest won't even care. If you think it looks fab-u-lous and wear it like it's fab-u-lous, odds are people will see it the same way. Don't ask if it looks cute, say it looks cute!;) Overall, imho, the dress looks great on you just the way it is. :)

I like it your way. Very original, the belt breaks up the dress and the colors mesh well. The shoes are just fine! Love them. Id say throw on some gold acessories and call it a day!

I'm having a hard time seeing it b/c the pics are kind of blurry but it looks like the waistline seam kind of comes down in a "V" shape? if it does as it's appearing to me, then I wouldnt wear that belt. I would try to find something that is the same shape as that seam b/c it would be distracting to get a belt w/any other shape IMO. If I am not seeing that seam at the waistline and it's just the camera, then I'd say go w/the belt that you have.

I love the dress with your complexion. The color really complements you. The belt throws it off in my opinion. Green is real hot this summer. I will change it up with accesories. I would maybe rock silver or gold strappy shoes with it. With some really nice green chandlier earrings and bracelets.

I'm sorry, I asked for opinions I hope I didn't come off rudely to you, I wasn't trying to be. I was just giving some dress background....you know how something looks cuter when its $3 bucks.

Yes but I would maybe lower the belt. BTW, where did you get those shoes? Those are really cute but I love all wedges.

SweetCaramel1:

I got the belt in a resale shop called Plato's Closet, just happened to see it out of the corner of my eye before walking out the store.

sky_blu:

The shoes are from steve madden, they ended up costing about $5 after a buy on get on half off sale on shoes that were already $9.99

Thanks for all the input guys!!!
