I guess I'm just a little irritated by this new trend of bulky costume jewelry necklaces, bracelets, etc. Dangitt, they even have fake wooden jewelry!

It's NOT cute...but its everywhere! Yuck!

I like some of the chunky jewelry, I have found different good quality pieces to wear with simple clothing, but I do not like it when people got big a** earrings , big a** belts, big a** necklaces, and 50 million big a** bracelets on their arms all at once? Simplicity is key.

ITA. There are some synthetic wooden bangles I have no idea how they make them, but they have real ones also.

Yeah...everyone is different. Fun to me is jewelry that's more simplistic & more importantly REAL. But yes - they make fake wooden bangles, unfortunately. I think it's plastic, made to look like wood.
