Last week I read the post on washing your face with oil. I read it, I understood it and I tried it. I looked stunning, I was glowing, I'm not particularly prone to breakouts like I was when I was younger but the occasional spot is to be expected. So there I am, washing away lookin sexy, with my beautiful clear skin, when 2 days ago I "decide" that I must need an exfoliation because I haven't done so in a few days and this oil must be building up (even tho I read AND understood the post) So me and my fast self goes and exfoliates with the st ives medicated wash - which worked wonders for me when I was on my all you can eat America diet last year at Clarkson and was spottier than a leopard - and then throw in some other products; toner (astringent) and moisturiser (all this is oil and fragrance free stuff BTW.) Now today ....
I HAVE 3 SPOTS. THREE!!!! and one is particularly angry looking. Who told me to busy myself and fix the thing that wasn't broken. And the funny thing is I was using my hair oil lol. I didnt have EVOO or teatree so I was using my mix of grapeseed, coconut and jojoba!
How many other ladies stop doing something thats working just because, although it makes sense - oil disolves oil - it just doesnt quite seem right and goes against wat u"think" u know?
This is the last time I do that again, do you think I should invest in some natural exfoliants? maybe some real ground peach stone?
