Heart Problems...

Has anyone here ever had heart problems or know a woman that does? On Saturday, I was feeling disoriented, and by that evening I had an achiness in my chest. My husband took me to the emergency, and they did an EKG and took some blood. Well, of course everything came out normal, and the doctor said I have esophagusitis (something like that). That condition will cause pains in chest and weakness, and precribed Prevacid. Well, the pains are still here, and late last night it was in my jaw, neck and upper left arm.
After doing some research, I learned the hospital was supposed to test me 2 more times just in case of a heart attack or agina. Most of the time it doesn't show on the first test.

If anyone has any experience or suggestions I will greatly appreciate it.

I don't have heart problems personally but my mothers suffers from Congestive Heart Failure. She had her first heart attack about 15 years ago. I was the only one at home when this occurred. The first symptom my mother experienced was nausea, then she came to me and asked me was I hot. I told her no then she went outside and sat on the porch. She then complained of tightness in her chest. When I heard that I immediately called 911. When the paramedics arrived they told me if I had waited any longer my mother would have died. The second time my mother had a heart attack was about 8 years ago. The symptons were a little different. She instantly felt dizzy and had a sharp pain in her left arm. I was the only one there at that time also (she calls me her guardian angel). I immediately called 911 again and the paramedics arrived just in time. Currently my mother is doing alot better. She was able to get her hands on a good vascular doctor who monitors her frequently. I would suggest you see a vascular doctor or a cardiologist immediately.
