What do you use for quick remedies for headaches, indigestion, soreness, congestion, etc.?
For example when I was a child and I had a fever my mother would lay be across her lap and rub me with alcohol to cool me off. My aunt would bundle me under a million blankets and make me sweat it out.
I have always had a sensitive stomach. If I was stressed or even just ate something a little off my stomach would act up. My parents would boil the ginger root and give me a tea from it. It usually helped.
Any others?

for nausea drink a cup of apple cider vinegar. It will either make you vomit, or it will cut whatever is unsettling your stomach.

For earache
I know my mom used to warm an onion in the microwave and than squeeze the juice into my ear. Or the one I hate the most, cigar smoke blown into the ear. It worked but I was afraid my brain would soon look like a smoker's lungs.
Underarm smell...
Being too young to wear deodorant, my mom used to take a potato and rub it under my arms to keep me from smelling.
Period pain
Yep, my mom had peppermint and spearmint plant just for that. Made tea from the leaves and stuffed it down my throat. (Thanks mom!!!)
Bad Breathe
Use cloves...place a little under the tongue and on top the tongue after brushing.

Where do I start.
Gas pains, gassy stomach - orange peel tea.
Dry orange peels and then draw them, use the water to make a milk free tea.
Fever grass, used as the name suggests.. havent seen it in the US since I moved though.
Upset stomach, cramps - spice tea , cinnamon, a bayleaf and cloves, sweeten and drink.
Also club soda is good.
For cooling down fevers - bayrum, alcolado, limacol
For a cooling/purge - carrot water, pieces of burnt bread, my favorite is senna leaves/pods- draw the senna and u can add it to tea, juice, water, whatever, it'll give your body a good clean out. I know of this way before I heard of green teas.
If u look at some weightloss and cleansing pills, they have senna in them.
I'll keep thinking and add as I remember.

Underarm smell - as a child my mom would add all spice to my baby powder and put that under my arms, because that age I didnt use deodorant yet.
And she would also add a little lemon to my bathwater.

To stop the sting and burn from insect bites rub a cut onion on them. My father did this when I got bitten by red ants in Jamaica. I stunk, but it worked.

Any tummy upset or gas, a quarter teaspoon of baking soda in four ounces of water. Will settle your tummy with a quickness.

For example when I was a child and I had a fever my mother would lay be across her lap and rub me with alcohol to cool me off. My aunt would bundle me under a million blankets and make me sweat it out.
My parents used to do this when I was small. I actually did this to my son when he was young once and I told my pediatrician about it. Boy did she blast me. She indicated that nowadays they warn parents about doing this it can make your child go into a seizure.
A brewed teabag will make a sty disappear. I've used this several times. It works even better with a chamomile teabag.

white rum, any stomach malady, flu, cold, drink a shot of white rum, but on some clothes and lay under the blanket
or if you have a cold Buckleys will do the trick every time (not a home remedy but damn it works)
