I have seen ladies on TV like the red carpet and real life who always look like they are glowing. I'm talking about that dewy, glowy look that isn't shiny and greasy. Their cheeks and T-zone look so healthy and milky SMOOTH! I want THAT look! But I don't know HOW to get it. I know make-up plays a major role b/c when they have no makeup on, it's not really there. (I hope I'm explaining this right b/c I REALLY wanna know. I feel it makes you look so much more attractive. :yep:) While watching the Bachelor last night, Moana had that look when she was being grilled by the 2 girls for the one-on-one dates and I know it was b/c she had make-up on.

What are the various ways you create the dewy/glowy/milky smooth look??? With AND without make-up.

There are several ways you can get that glow. Creamy or liquid products are mainly responsible. I use mostly Mac so that is what I will give you an example with. You can use Mac hyperreal foundation, it has some shimmer that is subtle, but gives a glow. You can use select tint, which is a sheer foundation and apply mineralized skinfinish to the cheeks, bridge of nose and center of forehead. The skinfinishes really give that glow you are talking about and the Mac 187 brush helps to blend it in so it looks natural. I also have used Mac's glimmershimmer's and I really like them, b/c they gave me that exact glow you are talking about. I applied select tint, then my e/s and blush, I then applied the glimmershimmer to my cheekbones, temples, forehead, and bridge of nose. It is a really nice look. You also want to make sure not to apply too much powder, b/c then you will look matte instead of dewy. HTH!:)

Hey Devin, I love your looks! They're fabulous. I've seen some of them on MAC sistahs and MUT. I am working on perfecting how I apply makeup. Keep those FOTD's coming! :D

Thank you sweetie! Yeah that is too bad.:( Do all Mac products break you out or just foundations, maybe you can try some of the things they have?

Hmm...I've used their foundations (ick!) and their pressed & loose powders. All of them created so many complexion problems for me.

I made the switch to Prescriptives in November, and my skin has thanked me! Now I'm a little scared to try anything except e/s & lipglass by MAC.:perplexed

I agree with Felicia you may want to try the e/s, etc. b/c although a lot of people have problems with the foundation, i don't hear too many people having those same problems with their other products.:)
