Queen Latifah did an interview with LLCoolJ for their movie Last Holiday, on AOL. LL asked Latifah what she does to have such beautiful skin. Guess what she said? You won't believe this:confused: ............... She washes her face with baking soda.

I tried it and can tell a difference. If you try it, be careful to rinse your skin throughly because you could have a gritty residue.

Queen said her grandmother told her to use baking soda. She has never used soap. The baking soda exfoliates according to Queen Latifah. :grin:

Yea I do this often. Baking soda is great because it's a really fine particle exfoliator, it was even found to be a pretty decent substitute to the aluminum oxide crystals (used for microdermabrasion) in a study. I mix a little with my regular cleanser for exfoliation.

This is funny b/c I was just going to make a thread about baking soda. I have been using this ever since I ran out of my Mary Kay microdermabrasion sample. I wash my fash with my Dove pink, exfoliate with baking soda, apply moisturizer and then do extractions. It seems to be working so well thta now I use it both morning and night.

Baking soda is too harsh for me, but it does leave your face smooth.
