Ya know, I really noticed this AM how I seem to have fewer dark spots after my facial. I was 2 weeks ago, and I'm really blown. I'm going to call the salon this AM and see what they could have used during my facial that could have faded the dark spots, and how I can purchase it!

I know she gave me an enzyme treatment (and I know enzyme should get rid of some dead layers) but she also gave me something customized that burned a little bit, so it may have been an acid. And my face was steamed for a good 15-20 minutes, so I need to break out my steamer before I use any kind of mask or skin treatment.

I said I would only go quarterly, but I might have to go more often if it means my skin will clear up faster.

Anyway, I just wanted to share!!!

You had a peel that does fade dark spots.... I'm glad you were happy w/ the facial..

Yeah Vev, it was either the enzyme or the salicylic acid peel. I just called the spa, and asked then what they used on my face. She's going to make a list and let me know what was used on my face. It was the KnuTek line, though. So I'm gonna start researching on it now!

I go to get my facial Monday. I hope I get similar results!

Have fun!
I still got a ways to go, but a little improvement is better than none at all.

So what type of facial would you recommend? I heard the peel treatments usually burn and can be harmful on African Amercian skin causing discoloration (which I already have from using other products already)

I would like to know as well. I am considering making myself an appointment for a facial.

This is great! I am really learning about my skin in 2006 too! Hopefully, by the end of the year it will be perfect!
