If you were a "seat filler"--you could end up sitting next to celebs. Supposedly the dress is "business casual...."

Maybe a tailored suit with a sexy camisole underneath and some cute mules or stilettos...
Some sassy jeans with a dressy/trendy top, a modern bag, and a great pair of boots would also be nice...
You could also do a fitted tunic with a nice pair of dress pants and some cute wedge sandals and bold jewelry...

The prior poster gave ya a great idea. Make sure you wear a casually elegant comfy outfit and shoes. You will be moved a few times. I have seat filled several times. Have fun!

I think I'm going with choice B! :) I have wedge boots...does that sound OK? Hmm to wear them under or over the jeans...haven't been brave enough to try the latter yet!

OT: what does a seat filler do? how do you get to do that? do you get to talk to the celebs? is a premiere just watching the movie, or do they talk to you about the movie also? and, last question i promise...do you get to walk the red carpet?

I like choice B...I say wear a pair of skinny jeans and wear the boots outside of the jeans as long as the boots are gapping...it's a very current look.
Let us know how it goes! :look:
Cincy, seat fillers are almost like audience members for a TV show. There isn't a lot to do other than observe and you get to see a new film, so movie buffs typically enjoy the process. When I went to the premiere for Walking on Sunshine, the seat fillers weren't supposed to talk to us (the actors). It can get to be too much if people start asking a ton of questions and asking for autographs etc etc. The idea is to fill seats but maintain a controlled environment.
At every premiere I've been to, actors, directors and occasionally executive producers were the only folks on the carpet during press time. The extras and seat fillers may walk the carpet prior to the arrival of the talent, but other than that, they're asked to go inside and have a seat.
HTH...

OK first off what is your profile pic from? I love it lol!
Anyway I ended up wearing a blouse, blazer, jeans and boots INSIDE because that was the consensus lol.
It was the premier of Walk the Line. Didn't walk the red carpet (it was actually green for some reason lol) but stood behind the barrier to watch the stars come in (Reese and Ryan, Joaquin Phoenix, Jessica Alba came for some reason, etc.). Then we got to see the movie (a good one--reminded me a lot of Ray). It was fun! :) I got an email about it from someone who got it from someone and thats how I was able to go. :)
