As some of you know, last year I was a pilates fanatic and getting FANTASTIC results.
What stopped me in my tracks was that I injured my right buttock and it took forever to heal.
I got discouraged and abandoned my fitness quest and about 8 weeks ago I tried to get back on the band wagon.... I started walking one hour a day. I have been plagued by varying aches -- back(upper/lower), hip, shoulder etc.
What I realized is that my hips are really tight so I'm doing some thing different... Yesterday I started a stretch routine
10 minutes on my nordic track-- to warm up
Static stretching: 2 hip opening stretches held for 10 and 5 minutes respectively on each side.....
I realize that I need to loosen up these muscles before I proceed with any kind of fitness routine.
Thanks for listening -- this might help someone struggling w/ injuries, tightness pain etc....
Wish me luck, guys!!! :)
