That's the same thing I was trying to figure out (thanks to girlfriends), but I found (bought) two at the Hell's kitchen Flea Market. I think your best bet is flea markets or thrift shops.

Kenneth COle has alot of them. I work at an outlet mall, and they have a bunch of oversized clutches at the Kenneth Cole New York store. I'm sure they have them at all the stores.

H& M has them..I went to the store on 34th in NYC last night and saw them in black and green I think.

Did you try ebay? I've bought many vintage clutches over the past year from vendors up there. Also, talk to older relatives. My auntie has contributed to my collection as well.
