Hyperdermabrasion towels. Do they work?

I noticed someone mentioned using these towels to help with the dark butt in the thread posted about it (dark butt issue - hyperpigmentation) and i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. Please share.

The towels work just don't rub too hard or use an astrigent afterwards.
