Anybody know anything about religion and numbers like 7, 3, and 12. And meanings?

hmmm.... I don't pay much attention to it. John Hagee talks about that a lot, stuff like make sure you give 7 times, fast for 40 days, or the 7th month of the year is very important etc. The number 7 is very important in Jewish culture, and in Revelations the number 7 is mentioned many times. I honestly don't know if numbers in the Bible had more to do with Jewish culture (like not eating with gentiles or shaving their beards) or not.

I've also learned that the number 8 means new beginnings. Never really heard anything about 7.

The number 7 in the Bible is meant to stand for completeness.

The world was created in 7 days.

All of the dreams that Joseph interpreted for Pharoah consisted of 7years of bad luck/fortune followed by 7 years of good.

7 plagues.

There are many more examples, but I can't think of them right now...
