I've been working out for about 2 months now doing lots of cardio and stuff and I have managed to tone my arms, abs, legs, and butt, but I have 2 rolls on my back that does not seem to want to go away no matter how much exercising I do!! I wear a size 6 now, I'm 5'8 and look slim, but I still have these 2 darned back rolls...anyone have any simple exercises on how to get rid of them??

strength training...i'd get some resistance bands and do the exercises that work the back. and keep doing your cardio :)

I had that problem about 5 years ago. It went away when I lower my body fat percentage.
I had to replace fat with lean muscle and I lost a few lbs, as well.

Tae bo seems to be doing it for me. I think its all that punching, but I'm definitely seeing results.
I had developed some back rolls and since I began Pilates lately I watched them disapear. I think the most effective move for me was the one where in the sit up position you bring the opposite elbow to knee while straightening the other leg. I can't remember the name of it but its good for abs also.

I think that one is the Criss-Cross - I agree, that is a really good workout for the core.

Good link that shows the main series of Winsor Pilates exercises, including the criss-cross : http://www.xenotive.com/ryan/step/pilates.htm

Hmmm, then it could be the pilates then. I'd been doing the Winsor pilates and now that I've got my machine out of storage I've been doing it three to four times per week.

Strength training is the best. You need to work the muscles to raise it. Kind of like working the chest muscles (pectorals) underneath the breast which will give an automatic lift to saggy boobs. The same is true for the "back fat/rolls" that you see. Get some dumbbells and do single-arm rows. When you're doing them correctly, you'll feel the muscles underneath that area working and in about 6 weeks (or less) you'll see those muscles lifting which will make it seem like the "fat" is disappearing. Strength training itself will help you to keep your metabolism going to lose fat pounds while you're replacing them with muscle pounds.

Do you like swimming? That's by far the best fat burner for me. Works my whole body and I even start to feel slimmer the day after a good swim. Do a few laps of crawl and a few of breast-stroke every other day, and in a few days, you'll start to wonder where the rolls went to. What's more, breast stroke will do your chest a lot of good and help give your boobs some support.

Check out this link. It has numerous back exercises that you can do. Most of them include using weights.

Doing Dead Lifts with a bar works great for the back fat/flab.
