I have never used the foundation but I do use the mineral veil to help cut down on shine. I like the mineral veil alot.

I didn't neccesarily try it but receieved a free demo at Ulta and it is pretty light. Doesn't offer much coverage if you have dark scars. But I am planning to get it and get a concealer to cover the deep scars I have. It helps with the shine I will give it that.

I tried this a couple of years ago and it really didn't work for me. I just made me look dirty and ashy. I don't know if I was applying it wrong or what.

I am addicted to this line of makeup. It is a bit tricky to apply at first but when you get the hang of the swirl, tapp, buff method of applying this makeup it is easy and very quick to apply. Also, finding the right color foundation to match your skin tone sometimes calls for a bit of trial and error. For me I have to mix the number 5 and 8 foundation in equal proportions to match my skin tone. I had to buy lots of samples on Ebay first and do a lot of experimentation with them to find out what works best on me before investing a lot of money on the full size. You have to be very light-handed with this line of makeup because it is extremely concentrated. If you use the wrong type of brush you can get less than satisfactory results. For me, I found it beneficial to invest in their makeup brushes. Sometimes I thought I didn't like the makeup when I used a different brand of brush to appy it but after I bought the Bare Minerals brush to apply the makeup, it made a big and positive difference. Sometimes I just wear the Warmth instead of foundation. The Warmth is amazing it gives a nice sunkissed look to the complexion regardless of your skin tone--lots of black and white women love it. I would start with Warmth if you don't want the headaches of trying to match foundation color. I also use warmth as a concealer and it works amazingly well in this capacity as well. For me the experimentation was well worth the effort.:)

I love, love, love Bare Minerals and I'll never use another foundation! I bought the starter kit thats advertised on their infomerical. It's great because it comes with a video that tells you how to apply the makeup. Its pricey, but a little goes a long way.

Love it use it ever day. Very good makeup for the skin. Looks natural and does not clog pores. ;)

i don't like the foundation but i love their lipglosses and eyeshadows. they have great brushes also.

If you put too much on it will make you look like dirt is on your skin. Take brush with makeup on it put it in top and swirl then tap off excess then apply to face.
