For all who do drink, we've all been here.
This past weekend, I went home and my friends got me sufficiently plastered.:guiness:
I don't really drink much anymore, and when sunday morning rolled around, and I felt like I'd DIED! Shakes, Vomiting, Nausea, Headache, the WORKS!
Nowadays, when I DO drink, I make sure to drink MORE than enough of my daily water requirements, but I must have missed a few glasses. The next morning, there was no use trying to re-hydrate myself until the stomach junk ended. :ill:

Now, we all know how to prevent 'em, but when y'all do get hangovers, what do you do to lessen the severity? Hot, hot showers/baths, Pepto-Bismol, and time are what make mine a LITTLE better, but I usually need an all-day recovery. What about y'all?

I could have used this info. Sunday morning myself. I hardly ever drink, and if I do it's one drink that lasts me the whole night--a social thing. Well my best friend and I had a party and I made this mixed drink and got everyone at the party tow up! (They said I can never be bartender again!). Then the next night I drank again, so Sunday was just all bad. I desperately needed a remedy. I ended up sitting around all day, ate some greasy food, hydrated myself and felt much better.

Grease and aspirin.

That's the only thing that works for me.

Some greasy fat filled food and 3 Bayer aspirin.

I also will drink Vitamin Water (the Revive one or the Formula 50).

In an hour or so I'm straight.

I've heard the Alka Seltzer helps

The tried & true for me, before you get into bed, a LArge glass of water and 2 tylenol. The tylenol to eleviate the headache and the water to avoid cotton mouth when you wake up.

Try your best to eat a good solid meal prior to drinking.
