I had an analysis done where I exercise now, I decided to give myself a year, so April, 2005 I should have lost at least 100 pounds, by then, I said I'm going to be consistent...here's what is said

Age: 33
Height: 5'4"
Weight:228
Total Body Fat: 45.6%
Current Lean Mass: 124 pounds
Current Body Fat: 104 pounds
Current Activity Level: Startup/Deconditioned
Estimated Caloric Expenditure: 1,982
Optimal Caloric Intake: 1,783
Menu Option: High Carbs

Your Body Requires a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fat, your menu plan will contain the following: Protein: 15-23%, Carbohydrate: 60-75%, Fat: 7-15%

The High Carb Menu Plan that I'm following

Meal 1

3/4 cup of soymilk
1 medium apple
1 cup of orange juice
2 slices of whole wheat bread

Meal 2
4 ounces of mixed green salad
2 slices of whole wheat bread
1.25 ounces of Atlantic fillet salmon
1 Tablespoon of French Salad Dressing
1 medium apple

Meal 3

2 cups of strawberries
6 raw celery sticks (7.5 inches), I have yet to eat celery, can't eat it without peanut butter

Meal 4

1 1/4 cup of white pasta cooked
3 ounces of diet pasta sauce( I use fat free)
10 ounces of mixed green dinner salad
4 ounces of shrimp
1 1/2 teaspoons of fat free salad dressing

I'm do up for a measurement in three weeks, let's see if this works, I haven't asked for another menu yet, I've been playing switcharoo with this menu, I might put the shrimp on my salad or eat strawberries instead of an apple for breakfast, but it's been easy to follow and easy to shop, plus I'm required to do circuit training at least 3 days a week for this to work....so whatcha think???:look:

well, i have PCOS and im insulin resistant, so sugar carbs and weightloss dont go together for me....it sucks cuz i couldnt really successfully do a diet that high in carbs :( low carb works best for me....that means that around 90% of my carbs come from veggies (although theres not carrots, potatos, sweet peas, or corn....luckily i never really liked any of that anyway :D ) and i cant do juices and breads and rice and whatnot....i mean, if i want to lose....

although....my Endo did tell me though, that most people who are overweight have some insulin resistance, but not as bad as folks like me have....

also, sugar has no nutritional value that i know of....and thats what most juices have no matter how many vitamins they claim....so, i would just eat oranges instead of drinking orange juice, you know? same vitamins, but with natural sugars....

anywho, thats just my two cents. :D
