Alright babes!

I was very successful last summer when we started the LHCF Walking Club. Having the support and having others do it with me was so super helpful. I lost 7 pounds and have done a decent job of maintaining it since then.

So, here's what I'm up to now. I plan to lose 7 pounds by June 1st during the month of May. Here's my plan:

*5 days a week--eat 1400 calories or less (no less than 1200)
*2 days a week--can have up to 2000 calories if desired
*limit, but not eliminate sweets and junk foods (gotta keep it fun)
*180 minutes per week of any combination of cardio/weights/toning exercises(I will be using the FIRM)
*additional exercise is encouraged!

This should yield a loss of 1.48 pounds every 7 days resulting in about 6.5 to 7 pounds gone in 31 days.

Now I am 5'8" and 162 pounds. I usually wouldn't give that information :( but I have to to let you know that those of you who join in on this plan with me if you weigh less than I do then this plan will yield a smaller weight loss for you. If you weigh more than I do then your weight loss will be larger from following this plan.

If others join me, then I will start a thread each week like I did for the Walker's club. Each day we should post what we've eaten and any activity(exercise). If you want to trade your calories between days, that is fine. Example: You only eat 1200 calories one day so you can eat an additional 200 another time if you'd like. (kind of like weight watcher's banking points)

Alright, so the big question is--WHO'S IN WITH ME?

SG, I don't know if I can follow your plan, per se, as my schedule has been quite iffy, but I want to support and encourage you every step

Im joining every challenge I can to keep me in check! Ive lost 20 lbs since the end of March and I have to stay on track. Around Christmas I got back into the fitness mode for a while and lost 10 lbs but then got off track and gained it back...this time I have to keep going in the right direction. I should lose more like 10 lbs bc I weigh more than u (185). I like that idea bc some days I eat like a bird and others like a horse so u have to just balance it out for the week and u will still lose!

I will be firming probably 3 days a week and walking 4 miles 2 days. I will eventually incorporate jogging but I have to get used to walking first.

Im all pumped up!

I'm in... so my plans are 10 pounds by May 31st.

That's aggressive isn't it?

I'm thinking of no more than 15-1600 calories/day.

No chips, fries, pop, donuts, cakes and minimal chocolate (these are my downfalls). I've already gone without chips for a week and a half so I guess that's a good start.:look: God, I love potato chips. How I will miss thee, Lay's Plain Potato Chips!:crying3:

180 minutes of exercise/week (45 mins. 4 days out of the week) Maybe more. But for me that's A LOT.

Lots of water. Which I hate. At least 33 ozs./day. (Trust me that's a lot for me. I know it should be double but if I drink 64 ozs. in a week I'd be doing good so... 33 ozs. a day will be like a minor miracle!)
Good luck ladies!

I would like to join...up until I had my 3rd baby, I've been trying to gain weight....and now I'm trying to lose this kangaroo pouch. :( I need to work on being able to fit in the exercise with the baby here though.

I'm a bit iffy with the food as well (need to work on that), but I will take on the rest of the challenge:

*limit sweets and junk food
* no sodas and up intake in water
*180 minutes per week of any combination of cardio/weights/toning exercises: start off with walk/run 1.5miles at least 2x a week and add on as necessary (in 30minutes), Taebo 1x a week, walk-away the pounds 4 miles express once a week
*additional exercise is encouraged!

I'm IN.

Pilates/ Cardio for 30 minutes at least 5 days a week
Weight training 2 x a week

Monitor calories; minimize eating out (large portions) and restrict simple carbs to one meal a day (ie. I cant eat rice for lunch and dinner..lol); carbs are my weakness

I have not been to a WW meeting since Oct. but I am still following the plan. I have lost 30 lbs (from Aug 8th to Dec. 5th) and I have a lot more to lose. Between this and the Accountablity Partners I should be good to go!
