I like my size and shape, but I want to start maintaining my legs and but more to prevent against cellulite.
How can I do it? I keep worrying that squats and lunges will make me lose my butt. :ohwell:

I think that any kind of toning you do will make you lose inches. Sorry babe!

Have you tried spinning (exercising on a stationary bike)???

If anything, squats and lunges will lift your booty up! Use the hell outta the leg machines at your gym; Leg Press, Extension, Curl, and the Hip Adductor and Abductor, and finally the Calf Roller. These will make your legs really cut, without losin' your butt!
Also, use the stationary bike and do sprints! They'll beat you down, but your legs'll look GREAT! :lol:

You want to tone so you need to build muscle and burn fat. Cellulite is just fat. Squats, lunges, leg presses are all good and use weights when you do them. You may lose inches and look the same or slightly smaller but stay the same clothing size or even gain a couple pounds. Muscle weighs more than fat. Overall you will look tighter, firmer and slimmer.
