Doing God's Work & helping others

Ladies, do you do anything to help others outside of the church like volunteering, even talking to homless people etc. I've really wanted to become a volunteer and spend time with young black kids that have gotten on the wrong side of the tracks. There's this organisation called Timeline over here and I may just register with them tonight. What good deeds do you or want to do for others?

I used to go to pregnant women's shelters and minister and donate goods to the women there. I felt a special bond to these women because I spent time in a shelter before...also, because these women chose to have their babies even though their situations didn't seem to be the greatest at the time. I would like to get back to doing that again.

Yes, I volunteer a lot of my time to helping others. It's so rewarding and I love seeing the happiness in people's faces when doing so. It also keeps me grounded.
