Hello,

I have researched the WW threads in and I can't quite find my answer. I am familiar with WW because an old roommate of mine successfully lost 80 lbs on the program, but I want to know does it work for people who only need to lose 20 lbs or less. I know that the weight loss will be much slower for me (she was losing 5 lbs a week) and I know it make take a littlte time. My sis and I want to try it and I just want to get feedback from those who may be like me and have had success with it. How much did you lose and how long did it take?

Current weight: 145
Goal weight: 125-130

Thanks

 I lost weight successfully with weightwatchers twice.

First time goal was 14lbs
This time round it was about 9-10lbs :)

It took me around 3.5 months first time round, although I ended up loosing around 20 pounds by accident.

Second time round I lost 8lbs in about 1.5 months.

Good luck.

Yes. Weight watchers works for any weight. Basically it advocates small life style changes, and watching your intake amounts. You lose about 2 pts a week when following it correctly. As you lose weight, you lower your points amount. If you have lost all that you want to lose, then you keep eating the same amount of points to maintain.
