Have any of you ever read this book and are any of you currently doing his 12 week challenge?

I haven't read his book, but there is a lot of free info on www.bodyforlife.com

IMO BFL is probably the most sound fitness program out right now. If I can ever get my eating together, I would do his program.

I'm currently on Day 3 of my challenge. It is a very easy program to do. I really like it a lot. Everyone always talks about the weight they lose on low carb diets, but those type of diets do not work for me at all. I have never lost weight on a low carb diet. And yes I did follow it exactly like the Atkins book says. I really think the BFL program is a very good lifestyle plan that anyone can do for the longhaul. He also has a new book out called "Eating for Life". It has great recipes and meal plans.

I did it four years ago. I lost a lot of weight (at least 55 poiunds) within 6 months.

One thing you may prepare yourself for is that since he doesn't have you counting calories, you may not lose right away. It took me about 4-6 weeks to lose, but I was firming up, and eating healthy. I then realized I was using the wrong EAS product, and switched to 'lite' formula. I lost more steadily after that.

I really loved that program, and would try it again, accept for the fact after 6 months I feel my body was used to the routine, and the cardio time wasnt' enough - regardless of what he says about intensity.
HTH.

I forgot to add, it really helped me to prepare meals ahead of time (the night before). And I also set my clothes out the night before I went to the gym. I started gaining weight again when my routine was interuppted ( I got a man...humph) and I couldn't do these things anymore.

Great site! I found out that I have been eating too many calories :( That's why my weightloss has stalled.
